Do you want to get rid of annoying dandruff on your scalp?
Dandruff is a very common condition of the scalp. It is a condition that causes flaking of the scalp. It is usually itchy. There are many factors that cause dandruff. Sometimes, a specific hair product or treatment can cause dryness or flaky scalp. This can result in full-blown dandruff.
Not washing your hair enough promotes the collection of dust and dirt on the scalp. The layer of dirt that coats the scalp and base hairline becomes the perfect breeding ground for fungal and bacterial reproduction. Dandruff is then developed in this condition. On the other hand, washing your hair too often can also cause dandruff because the hair is strip off its natural oils. Lack of oil on the hair and scalp can also lead to dandruff.
Weather can also cause dandruff. During winter, the skin on the lips, cheeks, and hair can suddenly become very dry. The dryness in the scalp, if ignored for a long time, can turn into dandruff.
Diet and stress can also contribute to dandruff formation. When you are stressed, you may tug or scratch nervously, contributing to dandruff. If you have poor nutrition, your hair and skin also become unhealthy, which can also lead to dandruff.
Although there are many commercial products designed to control dandruff, most of them have harsh chemicals and ingredients that can cause harm to the body. A more natural way to get rid of dandruff is by using essential oils. Tea tree essential oil is a common natural treatment for several hair and scalp problems. These include dry, itchy scalp, dull or brittle hair and dandruff. Tea tree essential oil has anti-fungal, antibacterial, and moisturizing properties that can get rid of dandruff.
