Baking soda is optional but it makes a more heavy-duty cleaner. Baking soda is a natural deodorizer and an excellent abrasive. It is good for scrubbing. The combination of vinegar and baking soda can break up and carry away dirt. The fragrance oil enhances the cleaning effect as it adds scent to the cleaner. Adding fragrance oil makes the house smell fresh and clean. You can choose the scent that you prefer but we recommend Baby Powder Fragrance Oil for a powdery scent or Egyptian Musk Oil for an exotic scent that promotes well being.
See how easy it is to make homemade floor cleaner with fragrance oil:
1. Get 1 bucket of hot water, 1 cup of white vinegar, ¼ cup baking soda and 15 drops of fragrance oil of your choice.
2. Add all the ingredients to the bucket of hot water and mix.
3. Use the mixture as you normally would when you mop the floor.
4. Let the floor air dry. No need to rinse the floor.
This homemade floor cleaner can be used to safely clean any type of floor surfaces. It is cheap and easy to make. Clean your floors naturally and effectively while enjoying the scent of your favorite fragrance oil.
