Do you have warts growing on your skin?
Warts are very common and generally harmless skin growths. They can appear on any part of the body but they most commonly grow on the hands, fingers, feet, and face. Warts may look differently. They can be flat, shiny or long stalks to large rough lumps.
Warts are caused by a virus called human papillomavirus or HPV. When the virus makes its way into the skin, it stimulates the cells on the outer layer of the skin to grow rapidly. This results in a small, firm, hard growth, which is the wart. HPV is transmitted by touch which means that the virus can be spread through physical contact. This could happen if your skin touches someone who already has a wart or a surface with the virus on it. However, not everyone who comes in contact with the virus develops warts. Some people are not susceptible to warts because of their resistance or immunity to the virus.
Anyone can get warts - children, adults, and even old people. Some warts disappear on their own in time. But it usually takes a long time, even years for warts to disappear on their own. Although they are generally harmless, most people feel embarrassed about the appearance of warts on their skin. Also, in some instances, warts can be painful, especially when they are on the feet or under the nails.
Luckily, you can use essential oils to get rid of annoying warts. Although it takes time, using essential oils is one of the simplest ways to remove them.
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a small bottle, mix the apple cider vinegar, lemongrass and tea tree essential oil. Mix well.
2. Using a dropper (or cotton swab if you don’t have any dropper), apply one or two drops of the oil blend directly onto the wart. Avoid the oil from getting on the surrounding healthy tissue.
3. Cover the treated area with a bandage. The bandage helps the oils do its work by keeping the oxygen out.
Do the same treatment twice a day, once in the morning and once before bedtime until the wart is gone. The apple cider vinegar’s acids work to remove the wart itself. The essential oils work together and have antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal and antibiotical properties. These help in killing the virus that causes warts. Getting rid of warts needs consistency in treatment. Stick with the treatment and your warts will disappear in time. Essential oils are a natural way to remove warts without using harsh chemicals or painful treatments.
